Official RulesAuto Racing: 2010 Full-Season SeriesOverviewPTF's Full Season Series (the "Series") is a public, fantasy auto racing competition based upon the 36-week 2010 NASCAR Sprint Cup season, beginning with the first race on February 14, 2010 and ending with the last race on November 21, 2010. You compete against all of the other entrants of the Series to earn the most points for the duration of the entire 36-week Series. Entrants that earn the most points during the Series earn prizes (as described below). Entering the CompetitionThere is a one-time entry fee of $19.95 USD for each team you register to compete in the Series. There is no limit to the number of teams you may register to compete in the Series (subject to the payment of an additional entry fee for each team you register). In order to compete in the Series, you must complete your entry and select your first weekly roster before the start of the fifth race of the Series on March 21, 2010. No entries WILL BE ALLOWED after the start of the fifth race of the series on march 21, 2010. Selecting RostersEach week of the Series, you will start six drivers (each a "Driver" and, collectively, the "Drivers"), 2 Drivers from Group A, 2 Drivers from Group B, and 2 Drivers from Group C.
You may start a Driver a maximum of six times throughout the entire 36-week Series. Each Driver in your weekly Series roster may be added or dropped up until the start of a race during that week of the Series. If any Driver suffers a season-ending injury (including death), such Driver (i) will be removed from the applicable Group (i.e., will not be available to start in any future weeks of the Series) and (ii) will not be replaced by any other Driver from any other Group. Accumulating PointsEach Driver on your weekly roster earns points based on their finishing order.
Each week of the Series, each Driver shall earn 1/10 of a point for each lap they lead and the Driver that leads the most laps will earn an additional 10 bonus points. ALL DRIVER POINTS SHALL BE DEEMED FINAL (AND NOT SUBJECT TO CHANGE) AS OF TUESDAY AT MIDNIGHT IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE WEEK THAT THE POINTS WERE EARNED, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER NASCAR MAKES ANY RULING OR DECISION THAT WOULD ALTER OR OTHERWISE AFFECT THE POINTS YOU WOULD OTHERWISE HAVE BEEN AWARDED. Recalculating Points at End of First 26 Weeks of SeriesAt the end of the first 26 weeks of the Series, the points earned by each entrant during its four (4) lowest scoring weeks of the initial 26 weeks of the Series will be deleted and each entrant's total accumulated points for the Series will be recalculated without including the points accumulated during the four (4) weeks that have been deleted. Series PrizesTHE WEEKLY SERIES ASSOCIATED WITH THE 2010 FULL SEASON SERIES IS OPEN ONLY TO ENTRANTS THAT PURCHASE THE 2010 FULL SEASON SERIES PRIOR TO THE START OF THE 5TH RACE OF THE SEASON (MARCH 21, 2010). REGISTRATION FOR THE FULL SEASON SERIES AND THE ASSOCIATED WEEKLY SERIES WILL CLOSE AT THE START OF THE 5TH RACE OF THE SEASON (MARCH 21, 2010). Weekly Prizes: Each week of the Series, PTF shall award the following cash prizes to the entrants who accumulate the most total points during such week (each, a "Weekly Prize"):
If two or more entrants that win a Weekly Prize (each, a "Weekly Prize Winner") accumulate an identical one-week score, those Weekly Prize Winners will split the combined value of the Weekly Prize associated with their original finishing orders. For example, if two entrants tie for first and second place, the combined value of the Weekly Prizes for first and second place (e.g., $650) will be combined and divided evenly between the two Weekly Prize Winners. Full-Season Series Prizes: In addition to the Weekly Prizes, PTF shall award the following cash prizes to the entrants who accumulate the most total points during the entire Series (each, a "Full-Season Series Prize"):
If two or more entrants that win a Full-Season Series Prize (each, a "Full Season Prize Winner" and, together with each Weekly Prize Winner, a "Prize Winner") accumulate an identical number of points at the end of the Series, those Full Season Prize Winners will split the combined value of the Full-Season Series Prizes associated with their original finishing orders. For example, if two Full Season Prize Winners tie for first and second place, the combined value of the Full-Season Series Prizes for first and second place (e.g., $70,000) will be combined and divided evenly between the two Full Season Prize Winners. Awarding PrizesEach Prize Winner shall be notified by e-mail (or via U.S. mail, if applicable) at the e-mail or regular mail address supplied by such Prize Winner to PTF, and such Prize Winner will have fifteen (15) days from the date such notification was sent to respond by following the instructions provided in such notification. Each Prize Winner will be required to submit valid identification to PTF and to execute any release PTF deems necessary, including but not limited to, an affidavit of eligibility, a liability release and a publicity release (where permissible). Failure to comply with PTF's requirements may result in disqualification. PTF is not responsible for and shall not be liable for any prize that is declined or undeliverable, or for any prize or prize notification that is returned as undeliverable. In any of these situations the original Prize Winner will be disqualified. Subject to the restrictions contained in these Series rules and the Terms and Conditions of Use, all Weekly Prizes and Full-Season Series Prizes shall be delivered to each respective Prize Winner within the later to occur of: (i) ninety (90) days after the completion of (x) for Weekly Prize Winners, the applicable week of the Series and (y) for Full Season Prize Winners, the Series; and (ii) thirty (30) days after the respective Prize Winner has submitted its valid identification to PTF, executed any release PTF deems necessary, including but not limited to, an affidavit of eligibility, a liability release and a publicity release (where permissible), and PTF has otherwise verified that delivery of such Weekly Prize or Full-Season Series Prize to such Prize Winner does not violate any applicable law. NOTWITHSTANDING ANYTHING TO THE CONTRARY STATED IN THESE OFFICIAL RULES, YOUR ELIGIBILITY TO WIN AND RECEIVE PRIZES IS SUBJECT TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE. |
